Wegmans, Target & Other Shops More Accessible Via the Newly Opened Pacific Boulevard Extension in Loudoun County, Virginia
Dulles, Virginia, August 25, 2010 - Lerner Enterprises, Washington, D.C.’s largest private real estate developer and The Tower Companies, the largest Green Builders in the Nation’s Capital, both of Rockville, Maryland, announced today at 10:00 a.m. that the Virginia’s Department of Transportation (VDOT) opened the new Pacific Boulevard Extension that connects Virginia Route 28 to Waxpool Road via Severn Way, through Dulles 28 Centre.

Pacific Boulevard is a key component of Loudoun County’s transportation plan for the road network parallel to Route 28. The new extension will complete a critical segment of the road network and provides an alternative access to Pacific Boulevard via Route 28. The parallel road network will ultimately provide improved local connectivity and reduce traffic on Route 28. VDOT has projected that the newly opened section of road will have 27,600 average daily trips by 2030.
