Dulles Town Center Announces Exciting New Stores

Dulles, Virginia, February 9, 2012 - Lerner Enterprises of Rockville, Maryland, Washington, D.C.’s largest private real estate developer, has several exciting store additions coming to Dulles Town Center in early 2012.  Dulles Town Center, located in eastern Loudoun County, Virginia, is the county’s largest shopping & dining destination with 185 sophisticated shops and restaurants.

Old Navy, the fashionable and value conscious family retailer and long time tenant of Dulles Town Center, is currently building a new ‘Project One’ concept store.  The store is relocating from just outside Sears on the Upper Level, to a new 20,073 square foot space just outside Nordstrom on the Upper Level.   The new concept store will include a wide assortment of great quality products at a great value and will include vibrant colors, a freshened layout with new quick-change stations centered near a new efficient check out station.  Old Navy will continue to operate in its existing location until the new store opening, anticipated to occur in Spring 2012.

Teavana, which opened its first teahouse in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997, will be opening its newest tea emporium at Dulles Town Center in early 2012 on the Lower Level of the Macy’s wing.  Teavana, known for offering premium teas, herbal infusions and high-quality teapots and cups, currently has nearly 200 locations throughout the United States and Mexico.  The 1,085 square foot store will be located near the new Ann Taylor and Bare Escentuals stores.

J. Chow’s Chicken, Ribs & Salads, home to the Original California Chicken Salad, will be opening a new restaurant within the 15-unit The Eatery Food Court in early 2012.  J. Chow’s, which first opened at White Flint mall decades ago, will be opening its third location and will serve their renowned fresh salads, savory soups, delicious sandwiches, and hearty chicken & platters.  J. Chow’s will be located adjacent to Chick-fil-A and will be located within the 12 stall food court.

SHOPPING ENHANCEMENTS

Dulles Town Center is currently building a new mall exterior entrance into the Lower Level of the Nordstrom wing nearest P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Sheffield’s Furniture & Interiors.  The new entrance will allow shoppers easier access to the many exciting shops within the wing including the new Old Navy, the Verizon Experience store, LOFT, Jos. A. Bank, Everything But Water and many others.  The mall also recently added complimentary Wi-Fi in The Eatery Food Court to add to the overall shopping experience.

RECENT OPENINGS

Dulles Town Center is always adding exciting new stores.  Some recent new stores additions include:

Ann Taylor, the leading retailer of women’s apparel and fashion, opened the first concept store outside of the DC Beltway at Dulles Town Center in late 2011.  Home to a collection of high-quality beautiful wear now pieces with a combination of fashion, work and flattering fits, Ann Taylor’s goal is to always unleash her confidence, femininity and feeling of success – making her shine.  The 4,400 square foot store is located on the Lower Level Macy’s Wing.

Bare Escentuals, creator of the revolutionary mineral makeup Bare Minerals®, opened a new 2,500 square-foot luxurious boutique on the Lower Level of the Macy’s Wing in 2011.  The new Bare Escentuals boutique includes an experiential beauty bar with an enticing and elegant décor.

Books-A-Million, founded in 1917 as a street corner newsstand in Florence, Alabama, has now grown to become one of the nation’s largest book retailers.  Books-A-Million recently opened a new bookstore on the Upper Level near Macy’s and features a full selection of books, magazines, toys, games and a selection of e-book readers including the Nook®.

Chiang Mai Thai, an Asian/Thai inspired restaurant, opened recently in the Eatery Food Court in late 2011.  The new restaurant joins Dulles Town Center’s vast dining assortment available at Dulles Town Center including The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Vapiano among many others.
