Old Navy to Open New ‘Project One’ Concept Store April 25; Dulles Town Center Announces More New Stores

Dulles, Virginia, April 23, 2012 – Dulles Town Center is excited to announce that Old Navy (OldNavy.com) will open its newest ‘Project One’ concept store at Dulles Town Center on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.  Old Navy relocated its store to a new location on the Upper Level just outside Nordstrom.  Dulles Town Center is also excited to announce the opening of two new stores including Auntie Anne’s Pretzels (AuntieAnnes.com) and UK fashion retailer Monsoon Children (Monsoon.com).

Monsoon Children, which will debut its first location in the Washington metro region at Dulles Town Center, is a brand with a highly distinctive identity.  The intrinsic beauty of fabric, color and technique so evident in the early sourcing of Monsoon’s products from the Far East, continues to exercise a strong influence.  Monsoon’s team of talented designers gather inspiration and ideas from around the world to create the Monsoon signature look.  The new Monsoon Children will open by summer and will be adjacent to Caché, Godiva Chocolatier and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Auntie Anne’s Inc. is the world’s largest franchisor of hand-rolled soft pretzels, supporting more than 1,170 Auntie Anne’s® Pretzels locations worldwide.  The concept mixes, twists, and bakes pretzels to golden brown perfection in full view of customers.  Auntie Anne’s is committed to pretzel perfection by guaranteeing you will love its pretzels or they will replace them with the ones that you do.  The new Auntie Anne’s Pretzels will open in The Eatery Food Court in late summer.

OTHER RECENT OPENINGS:

Teavana (Teavana.com) recently opened a 1,085 square foot teahouse near the new Ann Taylor and Bare Escentuals stores.  Teavana, known for offering premium teas, herbal infusions and high-quality teapots and cups, currently has nearly 200 locations throughout the United States and Mexico.

Ann Taylor, the leading retailer of women’s apparel and fashion, opened the first Ann Taylor concept store outside of the DC Beltway at Dulles Town Center in late 2011.  Home to a collection of high-quality beautiful wear now pieces with a combination of fashion, work and flattering fits, Ann Taylor’s goal is to always unleash her confidence, femininity and feeling of success – making her shine.  The 4,400 square foot store is located on the Lower Level Macy’s Wing near Banana Republic, Bare Escentuals and a new Express prototype store.

Books-A-Million, founded in 1917 as a street corner newsstand in Florence, Alabama, has grown to become one of the nation’s largest book retailers.  Books-A-Million recently opened a new bookstore on the Upper Level near Dick’s Sporting Goods and features a full selection of books, magazines, toys, games and a selection of e-book readers including the Nook®.

Chiang Mai Thai, an Asian/Thai inspired restaurant, opened recently in the Eatery Food Court in late 2011.  Dulles Town Center offers over 40 delicious dining options including The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Vapiano among many others.

H&M, one of the world’s trendiest retailers, recently completed a substantial renovation of its store at Dulles Town Center.  The store is located near Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister on the Lower Level.
