Ann Taylor to Open Area’s First New ‘Fashion Forward’ Concept Store at Dulles Town Center

Dulles, Virginia, July 12, 2011 – Lerner Enterprises of Rockville, Maryland, Washington, D.C.’s largest private real estate developer, announced today Ann Taylor, the  leading retailer of women’s apparel and fashion mainstay, will be opening its newest concept store design at Dulles Town Center Mall, located at the intersection of Routes 28 and 7 in Dulles, Virginia.   The store is expected to open in October 2011 for the holiday season.  The new Ann Taylor store will be located on the lower level, adjacent to Center Court.  This will be Ann Taylor’s first new concept store in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.  Since fall 2010, Ann Taylor has opened select new concept stores in major cities across the country including New York, Boston, Miami, Boca Raton, Dallas, and Seattle.

The 4,000 square foot store will be Ann Taylor’s new store design transcending the shopping experience that is intimate, stylish and aspirational.  The new store concept includes a runway of mannequins down the center of the store that reflect the top looks for the season and will be merchandised by categories including women’s suits, accessories and casual wear.  Additionally, luxurious, intimate dressing rooms and other elegant details throughout will inject personality and warmth into the trend setting shopping environment.
