Dulles, Virginia, July 10, 2006 - Lerner Enterprises and The Tower Companies (TowerCompanies.com) are pleased to announce that site development work has begun on Dulles 28 Centre, a 300,000 square foot shopping center in Dulles, Loudoun County, Virginia. This is the second phase of development for Dulles 28 Centre that includes Wegmans Food Market, Residence Inn - Dulles Airport @ Dulles 28 Centre and Loudoun Dulles 28 Centre Auto World.
A lifestyle shopping venue, Dulles 28 Centre is strategically located at the grade separated interchange of Routes 28 and 625 (Waxpool Road), directly opposite AOL headquarters, only three miles from Washington Dulles International Airport, and within minutes of the Dulles technology corridor and many area companies, including Booz Allen Hamilton, Verizon Business, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and United Airlines. In addition, Dulles 28 Centre is in the heart of a large population base with exceptionally high purchasing power. The location offers convenient access to the Washington Metropolitan Area's largest business, retail and leisure centers, including Tysons Corner, Reston, Leesburg and all of Loudoun and Fairfax County.

A 125,000 square foot Target will co-anchor Dulles 28 Centre and is scheduled to open in July of 2007. Early leasing activity includes Avalon Lifestyle Nail Salon, Bubbles Salons, Chevy Chase Bank, Hair Cuttery, My Eye Dr., Verizon and restaurants including California Tortilla, Chee Burger Chee Burger, Moby Dick House of Kabob and Pei Wei Asian Diner will provide a unique blend of food and services to the center.
Also located within Dulles 28 Centre is the new Residence Inn by Marriott (ResidenceInn.com), which opened April 2006. The Residence Inn-Dulles Airport @ Dulles 28 Centre is a 151-suite hotel, built to accommodate extended stay travelers. It is the first hotel in the nation to feature Marriott's most recent design and décor package. Lerner Corporation will provide leasing and management services for the project. RJ Smith Companies of Richmond, Virginia has been selected to complete the site development phase of construction.
