McLean, Virginia, October 4, 2010 - Lerner Enterprises of Rockville, Maryland, Washington, D.C.’s largest private real estate developer, announced today that Carr Workplaces, a provider of alternative workplace solutions, will open its newest business center at 1750 Tysons Boulevard within The Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II.  The 20,958 sq. ft. center will be Carr’s sixth location in Northern Virginia and 27th in the U.S.   The Carr Workplaces business center is located on the 15th floor of the 18-story office tower, and is projected to open in April 2011.

By using Carr Workplaces, businesses can access the office space market in a highly efficient manner and can constantly tailor their offices to meet their rapidly changing circumstances, allowing them to add space or shed space as frequently as they require. Growth enterprises and independent professionals utilize the company’s “offices on demand” model to forego both the costly fixed investment in workplace infrastructure and the inflexibility of long term lease obligations.

The new Carr Workplaces center will feature 75 offices, including five 4-room suites and three conference rooms. The space will be fully equipped with state of the art audio and web equipment, along with Carr’s signature Community Café space for dining, collaborating, and recharging.  The center will be located at the new Tysons Central 123 Metro Station that is projected to open in 2013 and is neighbored by the major shopping destinations Tysons Galleria and Tysons Corner Center.

In addition, the Carr Workplaces center will offer short and flexible contract terms, and touchdown space for clients of Carr Workplaces’ popular virtual office programs, providing occasional office space for road warriors and home-based workers.  The center allows client’s immediate occupancy with no start-up capital, in addition to a 24/7 managed IT infrastructure, state of the art telephony, and full meeting support.

As one of the premier office towers in McLean, Virginia, 1750 Tysons Boulevard is a 395,000 sq. ft.
