Lerner to Build 250 Unit Luxury Apartment Building in Capitol Riverfront

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 27, 2018) — Lerner Enterprises, one of Washington, D.C.’s largest private real estate developers, is very pleased to announce plans to construct Lerner 1000 South Capitol, a state-of-the-art 13-story, 300,000 square-foot luxury residential apartment building. Its 250 residences are located footsteps from the Navy Yard | Ballpark Metro Station and Nationals Park.

The building is being designed by the internationally acclaimed, Washington D.C. based architectural firm of Shalom Baranes Associates (sbaranes.com). Interiors will be designed by Cecconi Simone, an award winning interior-design practice based in Toronto, Canada (cecconisimone.com). Lerner 1000 South Capitol is designed to achieve LEED® Silver Certification. The building will feature luxury amenities, high end finishes and spectacular views of the U.S. Capitol, downtown Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
