Dulles Town Center Mall
In 1999 and in partnership with Cigna, Lerner opened Dulles Town Center. This 1.4 million square foot shopping mall is the only super-regional shopping center in Loudoun County, one of America’s wealthiest and fastest-growing counties. While the mall was sold by Cigna and Lerner in 2020, the surrounding Dulles Town Center master plan including office buildings and several residential communities continues to be owned by Lerner.
Wheaton Plaza
When it opened in 1962, Wheaton Plaza was the largest shopping mall in the Washington, D.C. area and the sixth-largest in the country. It is the first suburban mall in Montgomery County, Maryland, one of the wealthiest counties in the country.
